Letting Go Quotes

It is what it is. Accept it and move on!

A big part of letting go is recognizing when it is time to stay in a situation and when it is time to move on.
Darren John

“When one door of happiness closes, another opens; but often we look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one that has opened for us.”
Helen Keller

“The cost of starting over is being willing to let go.”
—Guy Finley

It is always hard to lose something precious because you think that they will never leave. And when you wake up to the harsh cold reality, you find yourself lost without them. They are a part of you, and without them, you are just an incomplete puzzle. Don’t beat yourself up, cry and mourn if you have too. People fall out of love every single minute all over the world. Let all the grievance out and mourn for what had been lost. But you should know when you stand up with your head held high, and move on with life. Live with the thought they are watching over you. Maybe you find another strength to hold on to. Sometimes all we ever need to do is to let go. And embrace the present. Because letting go is sometimes the best you could ever do for love.

“Letting go is like rinsing junk, spam and viruses from your computer so that it can run faster.
by Vanessa Vandy

"Life is not about looking back and wishing that today is the same with the past... Life is about moving on, accepting changes and looking forward to what makes u stronger and more complete because it never late to have a life and never late to change one ".

It is time for the project to be over. You submitted the proposal, you painted your house, you passed-in the term paper. Whatever praise or criticism you received, it is now time to move on to your next project

Forgiveness is not always easy. At times, it feels more painful than the wound we suffered,to forgive the one that inflicted it. And yet, there is no peace without forgiveness.
- Marianne Williamson

You can learn how to let go of the past.Whether you have experienced a breakup with someone you cared for deeply, whether death has taken a loved one, whether you have had a feud with a friend or family member, whether you have lost a job.Move on and let go. Life can be joyful and rewarding again.

Once you have seen the truth you must make the decision to let go of the pain, anger, and resentment you have been holding on to.This requires you to take action. If you are attached to your pain, resentment, and self-righteousness, and addicted to your emotional reactions, this will be a difficult step for you. Taking action requires letting go of the very thing you have been holding on to for so many years. There is comfort in what we find familiar, even if we are experiencing pain and suffering. The pain and suffering itself becomes the familiarity we seek. It takes absolute faith in yourself plus courage, will, and discipline to let go.But once you let go, it will be as if the weight of the world has been taken off your shoulders. In this process it is important to not just the others in our lives, but also ourselves.

For most people, giving ourselves the gift of forgiveness is very challenging.
- Jonathan Lockwood Huie

I can choose to let it define me, confine me, refine me, outshine me – or I can choose to move on and leave them behind me.

Forgiveness is important, not for the person that wronged you, but for you. An unforgiving heart is a bitter one.

When you are able to forgive others, even if they are unapologetic for the wrongs that they have committed against you, only then will your mind truly be free. Those who are willing to hold grudges against those who trespass against them are only doing their own selves a disservice. Being unforgiving to someone doesn't benefit any person at all. You are only going to be as good as the people you surround yourself with. So be brave enough to let go of those who keep weighing you down.

"Sometimes you have to let people go because they are toxic to you. Let them go because they take and take and leave you empty. Let them go because in the ocean of life, when all you've been trying to do is stay afloat, they are the anchor that's drowning you."

There comes a time when you have to choose between turning the page or closing the book.

In the end, only three things matter: how much you loved, how gently you lived, and how gracefully you let go of things not meant for you.
- Buddha

The most painful goodbye are the ones never said, and never explained......
